Red-framed glasses hide
pool blue eyes
his weapon.

Rough, textured hands
grasp mine
strolling along cool ground.

Rigid breaths
drink in icy air
exhaling in deep sighs.

Revengeful winter sings
she still has a grip
on our frozen hearts.

Right, left, right, left
we walk in sync
mumbling words of false adoration.

Repulsive smell of Listerine
I've grown accustom to
draws me near.

Reaching for something worthy of dreams
we pretend a sweet embrace
will fix, mend.

Realizing the change
neither admitting its power

oh the greatness of youth

so. if you're ever looking for a place to take the lil ones and enjoy a great atmosphere...look no further than jump-man-jump. it was 5 bucks to get in and we got to be kiddos for a whole hour. the good thing is...its a very all age friendly area. there were even infants (who looked like they were drowning in a kiddie pool filled with mcDonalds balls)

anyway. my bff is moving. im feeling distressed. cause she is the one who always thinks of these things. :( bummer yo.

man. this video is badass. the entire thing was shot in reno. its funny cause i drive by all these places...probably every day.

anyway. i like it. look at it. read the lyrics - they're quite profound.

the dark knight

so. i went to the 12:10 showing of The Dark Knight. and i have a few conclusions.

1. when you dont go to sleep til 4, and you geet up at 7 for work, you're bound to have a stomach ache. but...its well worth it.
2. i have the strangest mix of friends, who for the most part, get along wonderfully.
3. 13 year old boys are the FUNNIEST lil things in the world. Bobby joe made me laugh more than the movie did. and for a twisted movie...i laughed a lot. Its fun having an "adopted" little brother.
4. Heath Ledger did a phenomenal job representing the joker. Now. the big debate is who did better-Nickelson or Ledger-and the only thing i can say is they both did a great job playing the joker for what the movie was. Jack Nickelson did a great-and terribly funny-joker for the Tim Burton film. Heath Ledger did a fantastic job playing a terrifying and psycho joker. the way he smacks his lips and talks...wow...it will stay with me.
5. i love my life. this summer has been soo beautiful.

when people "get" you

so my crazy creative writing prof wants me to challenge both my photography AND my writing.

he wants me to daily take pictures and free write on them.

hmm. i love that he gets me. and its only day two of class.

as i begin to search for the definition of love, i've come to the conclusion that love is undefinable. how does one put words to something so beautiful without. it comes in many forms. you can feel love in a touch. love in a kiss. love in a song. love in a word.

love is great.

most the times i just dont get it. but it just is. what it is. it has no limits. no regulations. it just is.

a weekend in photos

santa cruz was sick.

my birthday was equally badass.

its not always easy

i have a feeling being 22 is not going to be smiles and giggles...as its only day two and i have already had reason to be sad. i know sometimes i measure life much differently than others. but this isnt looking good.

i understand as we grow up...so do our relationships. i understand that i will not be the priority to my friends anymore. and the fact that they are chasing after their dream should make me smile and happy for them. but-in fact-it doesnt.

im going to miss her.

enjoy snoop. i cant help but laugh the fact that snoop is making country music. and that willy nelson and brad paisley are in it. hehehe. dont get me wrong. i love my country, and i love my snoop dogg...i just dont see how they go together much.

yay. i can finally sleep knowing i have kicked bloggers butt on figuring out how to post videos. whew.
